scope:
Specifies the test methods to be applied to evaluate the performance of wind resistance of blinds and shutters designed to be used in front of windows, windows/doors or facades and delivered as a complete unit. This standard applies to: - Shutters: roller shutters, external venetians, wing shutters, concertina and sliding shutters. Shutters equipped with projection systems are also included (roller shutters, venetian and concertina shutters). - Exterior blinds: folding and trellis arm awnings, pivot arm awnings, facade awnings, vertical awnings, roof light and conservatory blinds. - regardless of the natur of the constituent materials. - under normal operating conditions. - and installed in compliance with the manufacturer's installations instructions. Dutch awnings (mobile and fixed) and louvre arrays are not included.
