EN 1993-1-10 contains design guidance for the selection of steel for fracture toughness and for through thickness properties of welded elements where there is a significant risk of lamellar tearing during fabrication. Section 2 applies to steel grades S 235 to S 690. However section 3 applies to steel grades S 235 to S 460 only.
