This Dutch Code of Practice is meant to be applied for masonry structures and gives tables for the determination of the minimum required thickness of load bearing walls in dwellings and dwellings-buildings and conditions on which no calculations need to be carried out for facade walls and for the stability of building structures. Besides, the determination of the characteristic value of the flexural stength is given. If NPR 6791:1991 is fulfilled, also the concerning aspects in NEN 6790:1991 have been fulfilled.
