This Dutch Code of Practice is meant to be applied for masonry structures and gives tables for the determination of the minimum required thickness of load bearing walls in dwellings and dwelling-buildings and conditions on which no calculations need to be carried out for façade walls and for the stability of building structures. Besides, the determination of the chracteristic value of the flexural strength, based on the adhesion strength is given. If NPR 6791:1991 is fulfilled, also the concerning aspects in NEN 6790:1991 have been fulfilled.
