Describes drycleaning test methods using a commercial drycleaning machine. Fabric and garnment properties which may change on drycleaning and finishing are identified and methods for assessing change using existing International Standards are given as appropriate. Other properties which are also important, but for which no International Standard methods of assessment are available are also indicated, in annex A, together with advice on how to proceed on their assessment, and it is recommended that comments on these should be included in the test report.
