This EN applies to the verification of (pendulum) impact testing machines used for the Charpy impact test as described in EN 10045-1. It describes 2 methods: - the direct method allowing the physical and geometrical properties of the different parts of the testing machine to be verified statically and separately, - the indirect method: global verification method of the pendulum impact testing machines using Charpy V reference test pieces.
