NEN-EN 1740

Performance test for prefabricated reinforced components made of autoclaved aerated concrete or lightweight aggregate concrete with open structure under predominantly longitudinal load (vertical components)

active, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 May 1998
Status: active
Page Count: 11
ICS Code (Concrete and concrete products): 91.100.30
scope:

Specifies a method of determining the mechanical performances of prefabricated components made of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) or lightweight aggregate concrete with open structure (LAC) under longitudinal load which may be combined with transverse load. These performancences include: - the deflections and maximum crack width in the serviceability limit state; - the loadbearing capacity (failure load); - the load-(vertical)deflection diagram, if required.
