Specifies requirements for the construction, performance, testing and safety specifications for general purpose self service basket trolleys, fitted with a baby and/or child carrying facility(ies) for use by customers of self service stores to carry goods. Applies to basket rolleys conforming to 1929-1:1998 with the following arrangements: - one baby carrying facility - two baby carrying facilities - one baby carrying facility, one child carrying facility - two child carrying facilities. Applies to manually driven trollyes that are not intended for use on passenger conveyors.
