NEN 10052

Recommendations for voltage measurement by means of sphere-gaps (one sphere earthed)

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 May 1967
Status: inactive
Page Count: 44
ICS Code (Measurement of electrical and magnetic quantities): 17.220.20
scope:

These recommendations concern the construction and use of sphere-gaps for voltage measurement. The rules apply to the measurement of the peak value of: a) alternating voltages b) full standard impulses as defined in IEC Publication 60 and impulses with longer tails c) direct voltages. The peak values of the disruptive voltages in air for various spacings between the spheres are given in two tables.
