This International Standard specifies a gravimetric method for the determination of the sulphur content of steels and cast iron, excluding steels containing selenium. The method is particularly suitable as a reference method for the standardization of sampless of which certified standard values are to be established. The method is applicable to products having sulphur contents greater than 0,003 % (m/m)
