Specifies requirements and test methods for fundus cameras operating exclusively by photography of the fundus of the human eye. This standard is based up on techniques involving the direct effects of an optical image to a photographic emulsion. This standard does not apply to the following types of fundus cameras; - those designed to produce simultaneous stereoscopic photography; - those using infrared radiation as a source of illumination for the observing system.
