This part of ISO 717 - defines single-number quantities for the impact sound insulation in buildings and of floors, and - gives rules for determining these quantities from the results of measurements carries out in one-third octave bands according to ISO 140-6 and ISO 140-7 - defines a single-number quantity for the impact soundreduction of floor coverings and floating floors from the results of measurements carried out acording to ISO 140-8.
