This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the electric resistance welded carbon steel tubes designed to be used for automobiles (hereafter referred to as tubes). This Standard is generally applicable to the tubes in the range of 15.9 mm to 101.6 mm in outside diameter.
In addition to the items specified in the main body, the items of supplementary quality requirements which the purchaser can specify upon agreement with the manufacturer are shown in Annex A.
