scope:

This Standard defines the different types of inspection documents supplied to the purchaser, in accordance with the requirements of the order, for the delivery of steel and steel products specified in Japanese Industrial Standards. This Standard is also applicable to other products upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacture.

This Standard is to be used in conjunction with other Japanese Industrial Standards which specify the general technical delivery conditions:

for steel and steel products, see JIS G 0404;

for steel castings, see JIS G 0307.
