This Aircraft Turbine Engines Joint Service Specification Guide (JSSG) and its handbook appendices provide rationale, guidance, background, lessons learned, and instructions necessary to tailor sections 3 and 4 of JSSG-2007A for a specific application. These applications include fixed and rotary wing, wide body, manned, and unmanned air vehicles.
Purpose. This specification is intended for Government and Industry program teams as guidance in developing program-unique specifications.
