Purpose. To issue policy, define procedures, and assign responsibilities for the Naval Munitions Requirements Process (MRP). This revision is an update that conforms to the 2016 Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) reorganization, which includes Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Warfare Systems (CNO N9) new role in approving and publishing the final requirement products. This is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
