scope:

Purpose: This issuance:

• In accordance with the authority in DoD Directives 5118.03, 5100.01, 5124.02, and Volume 410 of DoD Instruction (DoDI) 1400.25, establishes policy for the CFO Academy and outlines its purposes and goals as implemented through the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction (CJCSI) 1801.01 Series.

• Authorizes the composition of the CFO Academy Advisory Board.

APPLICABILITY. This issuance:

a. Applies to OSD, the Military Departments, the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Joint Staff, the Combatant Commands, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, the Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities within the DoD (referred to collectively in this issuance as the "DoD Components").

b. Applies only to professional military education and training, or civilian institution degree programs specifically concerned with resource allocation and management functions provided by the CFO Academy.
