scope:
This specification covers iron-powder, low-hydrogen types of covered electrodes, for the fabrication and repair welding of low and medium carbon, high tensile and higher-strength low-alloy steels for as-welded and stress-relieved application.
Iron-powder, low-hydrogen electrodes shall be furnished in the types, classes, and sizes shown in table I, as specified (see 6.2).
