The requirements of this code cover the design and construction of vertical, cylindrical, welded steel storage tanks for inflammable liquids, insofar as these tanks are placed on the ground, are constructed with a fixed roof and enclose a volume of 200 m3 or over, with the cylindrical shell of welded plate not thicker than 20 mm.
