scope:

PURPOSE

This Marshall Work Instruction (MWI) specifies the requisitioner's responsibilities in the acquisition process from initiation of the procurement package through contract award, receipt of the goods and services, and contract completion. This instruction also provides specific instructions to procurement requisitioners on preparing procurement packages for the acquisition of supplies and services and for other contractual actions.

APPLICABILITY

This MWI applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and MSFC's Michoud Assembly Facility, including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts or agreements. ("Contractors," for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.)
