scope:
This part of ISO 22621 specifies the physical and mechanical properties of pipes made from polyamide in accordance with Part 1 of this International Standard, intended to be used for the supply of gaseous fuels for maximum operating pressure up to and including 20 bar1) and to be buried. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to this part of ISO 22621. In addition, it lays down dimensional characteristics and requirements for the marking of pipes. Pipes conforming to this International Standard are jointed typically by using mechanical, electrofusion or butt fusion techniques, but not by solvent cement jointing.
