The purpose of this document is to provide exchange, interexchange, and internaional carriers with guidelines for the deployment of testlines and assignment of testline numbers.

Specific local operational procedures should be covered in documentation provided by the Carriers. Additional copies of this document for individual company distribution should be obtained by contacting your company's Network Interconnection Interoperability Forum (NIIF) representative.

This document does not replace nor supersede tariffs, contracts or any other legally binding documents. Availability of testlines, specific procedures, and numbering plans may require individual company documentation or negotiation between the companies involved.

The testlines and testline numbers contained herein are in accordance with ANSI Standard T1.207. This Standard contains further information and descriptions of testlines.
