The purpose of this document is to provide exchange, interexchange, and international carriers with guidelines for the deployment of test lines and assignment of test line numbers.

Specific local operational procedures should be covered in documentation provided by the Carriers. Additional copies of this document for individual company distribution should be obtained by contacting your company's Next Generation Interconnection Interoperability Forum (NGIIF) representative.

This document does not replace or supersede tariffs, contracts, or any other legally binding documents. Availability of test lines, specific procedures, and numbering plans may require individual company documentation or negotiation between the companies involved.

The test lines and test line numbers contained herein are in accordance with ATIS-0300207, Operations, Administration, Maintenance, and Provisioning (OAM&P) - Terminating Test Line Access and Capabilities. This Standard contains further information and descriptions of test lines.
