scope:

This specification covers wheel-mounted, diesel-engine-driven, self-priming, centrifugal, four-inch and six-inch pumping assemblies for fuel and potable water service.

The pumping assemblies will be of the following types, sizes and styles as specified (see 6.2).

Type I - Pumping Assembly, Fuel Size 1 - 350 gallons per minute (GPM) Capacity at 275 Feet Total Head Style A -Without regulator Style B - With speed/pressure regulator Size 2 - 600 GPM Capacity at 350 Feet Total Head (1250 GPM Capacity at 180 feet total head) Type II - Pumping Assembly, Water Size 1 - 350 GPM Capacity at 275 Feet Total Head Size 2 - 600 GPM Capacity at 350 Feet Total Head Style A -Without regulator Style B -With speed/pressure regulator
