Purpose. This instruction provides policy and procedures for the assignment of enlisted personnel to the Joint Staff in accordance with the reference.
Applicability. This instruction applies to the Joint Staff and Services. Instruction does not apply to reservists performing in temporary active duty status not assigned to a validated funded wartime allocation.
