scope:
Purpose. This instruction provides consolidated policy and procedures for the assignment of officers (0-6 and below) and enlisted personnel for duty on the Joint Staff in accordance with references a-e.
Applicability. This instruction applies to the Joint Staff and all Service Components. It does not apply to Reservists performing in temporary active duty status and not assigned to a validated funded wartime allocation.
