This standard applies to station amenities and facilities in the following areas:

• Use of space;

• Security;

• Supporting infrastructure;

• Canopies;

• Clocks;

• Seats;

• Waiting areas;

• Litter receptacles;

• Public toilets;

• Bicycle racks.

• Temporary barriers

• Platform end barriers

• Cable management systems

This standard applies to all stations and parts of stations that are owned by LUL, including parts that are used by other train operators.

This standard addresses and supports t he specific customer service delivery issues of:

• Accessibility and Interchange;

• Ambience Amenities and facilities

Insofar as they relate to such facilities.

This Standard shall be enforceable from January 2005.

Purpose

The purpose of this Standard is to set out the amenities and facilities (including commercial facilities) requirements with regard to stations.
