This standard applies to plain line and junctionwork in open, sub-surface and tube sections and in depots.

This standard does not apply to the conductor rail system, the dimensions and tolerances and actions for which are covered in 1-164.

Where it is mandatory that any of the supporting information in Section 5 of this standard is to be applied, the appropriate requirement is set in Section 3.

This standard replaces 2-01302-240 A1. The Standard has been re formatted and renumbered. There were no technical changes.

Purpose

This standard defines the dimensions and tolerances, and the actions to be taken if these are not achieved, in respect of:

completed track works;

maintenance of track.
