scope:
Purpose. This instruction baselines current scheduling practices and establishes uniform requirements for scheduling work on naval vessels in Naval Shipyards. At the time of issue, a corporate pilot program, Critical Chain Project Management, was underway. This instruction may be modified based on the result of this pilot program.
