Purpose
This regulation sets policy for tactical water resources management. It defines the Army's responsibilities for tactical water support. This regulation does not apply to fixed installation water support operations or civil works emergency water management.
Applicability. This regulation applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. During mobilization, the proponent may modify chapters and policies contained in the regulation.
