Use/relationship: The Source Control Drawing Approval Request provides the Government with a means for approving or disapproving the use of source control drawings for specific items selected for use in the equipment.
a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for a Source Control Drawing Approval Request resulting from the work task described by 5.8.1 of MIL-STD-31000.
b. This DID is intended for use in data acquisitions requiring Source Control Drawings which the Government may use for future procurements.
c. This DID supersedes DI-SESS-81010C.
