General:

• Is a concession genuinely required? You do not need a concession for physical design non-compliance unless you are required to replace / renew the kit and are unable to meet applicable standards.

• Will a single submission save time for many sites? Consider grouping concession requests that are 'like for like' into one single submission where a single piece of mitigation makes this possible.

• Do internal parties support the concession? Evidence internal support e.g. relevant Asset Steward for the concession request being sought.

• Have you sought appropriate Safety and technical advice? You are required to seek advice on the safety impact of the non compliance from competent safety person, if there are no safety implications then please explain why in section F of the concession request.
