This standard applies to interior plastic parts with organic coatings on the surface. It also applies to cases in which organic coating types and color types are changed. For the coatings applied to the instrument panel, test methods in EDS-T-7923 shall be followed.
PURPOSE
This standard aims at specifying the general property test of organic coatings for vehicle interior parts.
