scope:
For testing the fluid resistance of metallic, plastics, elastomers, inorganic and organic coatings, self adhesive films etc., which, in service, are likely to come into contact with petroleum based fluids. The test fluid is designed to have similar effects on these materials as service fluids.
PURPOSE
The specification specifies methods of manufacturing a mixture of toluene, iso-octane, di-isobutylene and ethanol.
