This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the design, manufacturing and inspection methods of the expansion joint intended to be used to absorb the expansion and contraction generated on the heat exchanger, the container with jacket and the like by the temperature change, etc. When the application of the design method specified in Annex 10 JIS B 8265 to the pressure vessel is allowed, it is applicable.
