These instructions apply to AC medium-voltage contactors and Class E magnetic controllers rated 1501-7200 volts, which are installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70 and the manufacturers' instructions. The requirements in ICS 3, Part 2 apply. These instructions are not considered adequate for industrial control equipment intended for use in locations which are designated as hazardous in the National Electrical Code.
