This Standard specifies the measuring method of absolute vapour pressure of 7 kPa to 150 kPa at 37.8 °C of volatile and non-viscous petroleum products in accordance with the triple expansion method. The method is applicable to volatile crude oils of 7 kPa or less in dissolved air pressure, but the precision specified is not applicable. Also, for any sample that produces turbidity when cooled to 0 °C to 1 °C, the precision specified in this Standard is not applicable.
