scope:

PURPOSE. This plan implements various U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and local regulations for preventing oil, hazardous substances, and hazardous waste from entering the environment from the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. It provides information and procedures for protecting people and property in the presence of a spill. It is not, however, intended to cover those spills which are entirely contained within the work place, although the procedures and contingency actions described may be useful for that purpose.
