Purpose of this Order.

This order implements U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and local regulations for preventing oil, hazardous substances, and hazardous waste from entering the environment from the Aeronautical Center. It provides information and procedures for protecting people and property in the presence of a spill. It is not, however, intended to cover those spills which are entirely contained within the workplace, although the procedures and contingency actions described may be useful for that purpose.
