This specification details the qualification and performance requirements of a spray-on bedliner. This air-dry material is applied after topcoat bake, and must not see any other paint bakes. This material must be capable of being robotically applied and is intended to protect the truck bed from scratch and chip.

Material Description. Materials covered under this specification are two-component aliphatic urethane technology.

Qualified to this Material Specification. The material must adhere to all approved paint systems in production at GMNA truck plants. Adhesion must be proven over the following paint layering:

Electrocoat + Overspray Primer + Overspray

Basecoat + Clearcoat.
