This National Standard of Canada describes a product specification in compliance to ISO19131:2007 - Geographic information - Data product specification for the provision of fundamental geographic information to the public through the GeoBase initiative of the CCOG. This product specification describes orthorectified satellite imagery. This is the first part of a multi-part standard describing multiple types of satellite imagery. This is Part 1 Landsat 7 Orthorectified Imagery over Canada. The Landsat Orthoimages consist of raster data in 9 spectral bands. Associated with the raster images are a separate data set of control points to be used with the orthoimagery.
