inactive
Organization: DS
Status: inactive
Page Count: 18
ICS Code (Leather and furs): 59.140.30
scope:

This standard specifies a method for the determination of total metals in leather using extraction with an acid artificial perspiration solution and subsequent determination with either Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) or Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS). This method is especially used to determine the extractable chromium in chromium tanned leathers.
