This drawing describes the requirements for insulated, fixed, film, 1/4 watt resistors available in 2 percent, 5 percent, and 10 percent resistance tolerances. These resistors are capable of full-load operation at an ambient temperature of 70°C. Designers are CAUTIONED on using these resistors in high power pulse applications (see 6.4).
