GENERAL DISCUSSION

This chapter covers many miscellaneous items of equipment which do not fall into the categories of other chapters of the guide. However, inasmuch as some items of equipment discussed in this chapter are comprised of components covered in other chapters and in other API publications, appropriate references to those chapters and publications will be made. In addition to the information contained herein, the reader's reference to the equipment manufacturer's operating, maintenance, and inspection manuals will yield information peculiar to that manufacturer's equipment, information which it is not practical to cover in this chapter.
