This part of ISO 8130 specifies a method for the determination of particle size distribution by sieving. It discriminates between particles in the size range for 32 μm to 300 μm.
The method can also be used as an abbreviated procedure, i.e. for the determination of the residue on one single sieve only ("go"/"no go" test).
