scope:
This Japanes Indusstrial Standard specifies the test method of thermal transmission properties for vacuum insulation and vacuum insulated composite products (hereafter generally refeered to as vaccum insulated building componenets) which are used mainly at ordinary temperature in residences and buildings.
NOTE 1 This Standard describes the proceudres for measuring the thermal transmittance of vaccum insulated building componenets using the calibrated hot box method, and also describes the method for calculating the equivalent thermal resistance form the thermal transmittance.
NOTE 2 The accuracy of measurement is determined by the dimensions of a test apparatus and the specifications of a test specimen.
