This standard specifies the minimum-security requirements for configuring, managing and monitoring the Network Rail telecommunication IP network, network devices and connected systems.
This standard applies to all Network Rail staff and contractors responsible for designing, building, configuring and maintaining Network Rail telecommunication IP networks and connected systems.
Purpose
The purpose of this standard is to specify the application of security controls required to protect Network Rail telecommunication Internet Protocol (IP) networks to manage security risks to IP networks, network devices and connected systems throughout their operational lifecycle.
