scope:
The aim of this agreement is to:
a. Assure uniformity of dimensions, image placement and orientation for microforms used by NATO nations so as to enhance the exchange and utilization of data and information between nations.
b. Provide for compatibility of user equipment.
c. Preclude the unnecessary proliferation of types and varieties of processing and viewing equipment by reducing the number of microform formats.
