scope:

Purpose. To establish fleet actions necessary to implement the terms of, and ensure compliance with, the Treaty Between the United States of America and the Russian Federation on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms provisions. Reference (a) established and assigned responsibilities to ensure all Department of the Navy (DON) activities complied with applicable arms control agreements. Reference (b) establishes and assigns responsibilities to ensure all DON activities comply with applicable New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (NST) requirements.
