scope:

This Procedure covers issues of all Group and Line Standards (except Line Procedures) to RTIA Contractors.

It identifies the requirements for review of the effects of new/revised Standards as well as the withdrawal of Standards.

Purpose

The purpose of this Procedure is to define the method of controlling issue of documents relating to new or amended Group Standards, Line Specifications or Codes of Practice and the review necessary to consider implications to the Conditions of Contract for RTIA Works. It is important to note that Line Procedures, although part of Railtrack Line Standards, are internal documents and shall not, under any circumstances be issued to the RTIA Contractor.

Consideration of the implications of deletion of Group and Line Standards needs also to be considered.
